Cara Rau

From Johannesburg, South Africa, Cara is  an experienced political and intelligence analyst with expertise in Jihadism and armed conflict in Sub-Saharan Africa.

She holds a Masters Degree in Terrorism and Security Studies and speaks Afrikaans, English, French, Russian, and Levantine Arabic. Cara is particularly interested in counter-radicalisation and it is this passion that brought her to MjP.

She has written for various think tanks including the Terrorism Research and Analysis Consortium, Global Weekly, and the Afghanistan Security Institute.
