Abdelkrim Rebboun, president of the Islamic Cultural Center of Valencia (CCIV), has deleted all his posts from facebook. Rebboun, a man of Moroccan origin with a university education, who has been linked to different positions in the institution he now directs for years after being chosen for it in the current year, showed in them the horror of the Palestinian people at the hands of Israel. Ripped children, starving children carrying other children living in inhumane conditions.
The problem is the messages that Rebboun has spread by collecting the call to make the jihad (holy war) from Abu Ubayda, the spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas, killed by Israel in August 2025, and from other Muslim clerics and doctors, who echo and reflect on the call made by the terrorist, and who are considered radical ultraconservatives by various experts and Intelligence services. Some of them are part of organizations considered Islamist by National Security, which has warned that they spread fatwas «justifying the resort to violence».
Rebboun spread one of those messages on October 16, 2024 and another on July 25, 2025. In both posts, which include videos or photomontages, the question was: «Is it really about realizing the jihad an obligation for elites and scholars?» A question that the president of the Islamic Cultural Center of Valencia not only redisseminated but to which he responded affirmatively on his social networks.
The protagonist of the first of the videos released by the president of the CCIV is an ultra-conservative cleric named Iyath Qunaibi. Qunaibi first collected the words of the spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas requesting the mobilization of the scholars of the umma «to explain that the community has the obligation to jihad using all available resources in support of its al Aqsa mosque and its sacred land».
The protagonists of the second video released are Abu Ubayda, the spokesman for the armed branch of Hamas and members of the International Organization for the Support of the Prophet and the IUMS, and Muhammad al-Sahir, member of the board of directors of the IUMS, an organization considered «Islamist» by National Security.
