Yaser Elasaly

Yaser Mohamed Rmdan Elasaly, born in Egypt in 1974, is considered a member of the foreign branch of the terrorist organization Hamas and part of the Italian cell operating in close connection with the network linked to Mohammad Hannoun. He has been employed by the Associazione Benefica di Solidarietà con il Popolo Palestinese (ABSPP ODV) since February 5, 2016, and serves as co-head of the association’s Milan branch together with Dawoud Ra’ed Mousa. He operates consistently within the local structure, which also includes Abu Deiah Khalil, with occasional support from Jaradat Sami.

Within the associative network, he participates in decision-making processes alongside other individuals under investigation, contributing to the planning of operational initiatives, including those aimed at establishing additional entities within the same circuit, such as the charitable associations “La Cupola d’Oro” and “La Palma.” In this context, he has contributed to the transfer of significant sums of money, although these remain below the overall amount of €7,288,248.15 attributed to the entire network.

Yaser is described as one of Hannoun’s trusted associates and is continuously involved in all operational phases of the association. He is particularly active in receiving and transporting large sums of cash. He has also been identified as a possible nominee for the new association “La Palma,” allegedly conceived to bypass potential blocking of bank accounts and ensure the continuity of the network’s operations.

On the operational level, he frequently travels to Turkey to deliver money and plays an active role in the movement of funds. In February 2024, he also accompanied Sheikh Albustanij to Milan Malpensa Airport while transporting cash.

His activities are consistently embedded in the operational circuit of the network, as also evidenced by social media posts related to fundraising. On October 7, 2023, he published a post praising the attack carried out by Hamas.

Overall, he appears fully integrated into the operational structure linked to Hannoun, with a central role in the physical management of financial flows, international connections, and logistical activities of the network.

Although he had been placed under precautionary measures following Operation “Dominio,” in April 2026 the Supreme Court annulled the relevant order with referral, requiring a new assessment by the review tribunal.
