Khalil Abu Deiah

Khalil Abu Deiah, also known by the alias Abu Safiya, born on September 13, 1963, in Jordan, is part of the operational network linked to Mohammad Hannoun and connected to the terrorist organization Hamas.

He is formally listed as one of the co-founders, together with Al Jaradat and Aried, of the association “La Cupola d’Oro,” established on December 1, 2023. In this context, he serves as legal representative and founding member, in addition to carrying out operational functions in the management of the association. On February 13, 2024, he opened a bank account in his own name at Poste Italiane, which was used within the framework of the organization’s financial activities.

Within the network, Abu Deiah Khalil acts as custodian of the Milan branch of the ABSPP and operates consistently alongside Dawoud Ra’ed Mousa and Elasaly Yaser, with occasional support from Jaradat Sami. He participates in decision-making processes related to association initiatives and shares with the other individuals under investigation the operational choices concerning the management of activities and financial resources.

His activity contributes to the movement of funds allegedly destined, according to investigative findings, to the financing of Hamas, for an overall amount that cannot be precisely determined but is estimated at several million euros.

Although not all organizational aspects are fully shared with him by the other members of the network, Abu Deiah Khalil is considered aware of and complicit in the final destination of the funds. He also accepted the formal management of “La Cupola d’Oro” and its associated bank account, including with the purpose of concealing the identities of other individuals involved in the structure.

Following Operation “Dominio,” he was placed under precautionary measures within the criminal proceedings initiated against him. Subsequently, in April 2026, the Supreme Court annulled the relevant order with referral, ordering a new review by the competent tribunal.
